Hi! I'm Alison. I'm a comedian. I pay the bills by playing people on TV, in movies and online. I also write words and worry too much. I have an embarrassingly low level of fame where no one knows my name, but they have this feeling that they went to school with me. I like firm handshakes, information, my dog, smart people and the Earth. I'm on Parks and Rec sometimes and VH1 even more. I'm sorry if I once pranked you on MTV. But, c'mon! That was fun, right?
Anonymous asked: I loved the conference room scene in the first season of Parks and Recreation. You were great. That's gotta be a fun crew to work with. So, if I want to see one of the movies you're in, which one should I see? What are you most proud of? And do you have any stand-up?
Thanks! Everyone over there is top notch. I have a very small part in The Other Guys, but lately I’ve been working more in TV. Most recently, Parks and Rec, Californication, The League, and Funny or Die Presents on HBO. I also do a web series for ESPN.com that I’m very proud of. It’s called Mayne Street, and it’s smart and funny. Check it out! I do stand-up and storytelling sometimes onstage. Come see my monthly comedy show INDIGLO.
