Hi! I'm Alison. I'm a comedian. I pay the bills by playing people on TV, in movies and online. I also write words and worry too much. I have an embarrassingly low level of fame where no one knows my name, but they have this feeling that they went to school with me. I like firm handshakes, information, my dog, smart people and the Earth. I'm on Parks and Rec sometimes and VH1 even more. I'm sorry if I once pranked you on MTV. But, c'mon! That was fun, right?
My character on Parks and Recreation, Shauna Malwae-Tweep, was on the show once again last night! I was on set yesterday so I didn’t get to watch it until today, but my mom was nice enough to give me a recap over the phone last night. It went something like this:
“It was the one where the guy who was the kid mayor can’t do an interview. And the guy with the mustache? He wanted a typewriter. And then the girl who works in the office who never smiles had a list of chores and the guy who shines shoes wanted to get with the girl who works in the office who never smiles. And then the black lady told him to rub her feet. Oh! And Nick was in it.”
I’m pretty sure my mom should get a job writing for TV Guide.
